Bangkok, Feb 2020

Looking back at some photos from Bangkok I wonder when we will be able to visit this mega city again...

Mueang Sing

Mueang Sing. Build by the Khmers  in the 13th to 14th centuries. Resembles a mini Angkor Wat but in Kanchanaburi and not in Cambodia. Being here, in this weird forest almost by our own was a slightly surreal experience.

Under the highway

We got this place recommended by the locals. It looked a bit rough on the edges but the food was great. It is one of those food places that you can find under the many highways that cross through Bangkok.

Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai

The River Kwai, the Bridge on the River Kwai and 'Death Railway' in Kanchanaburi. Today it is difficult to imagine that we were travelling in the area just a few weeks ago.
