Mueang Sing

Mueang Sing. Build by the Khmers  in the 13th to 14th centuries. Resembles a mini Angkor Wat but in Kanchanaburi and not in Cambodia. Being here, in this weird forest almost by our own was a slightly surreal experience.

Kanchanaburi and the River Kwai

The River Kwai, the Bridge on the River Kwai and 'Death Railway' in Kanchanaburi. Today it is difficult to imagine that we were travelling in the area just a few weeks ago.

Temples, temples, temples...

The Kanchanaburi region is full of temples. During our brief visit we managed to check out Wat Ban Tham, Wat Sam Phran and Wat Tham Seua. Be prepared for some steep climbing!
