Lat Krabang

Perhaps not the most famous part of Bangkok but in the immediate proximity of Suvarnabhumi (int. airport) making in the perfect area to stay in when flying out of Thailand. Still a very vivid neighborhood with markets and interesting landmarks.

Koh Samet... again.

Koh Samet - lovely beaches, water and sand. The island is located on a very convenient distance from Bangkok (2.5h by car + 30 min ferry) making it a perfect starting or ending destination when on longer trips. Unfortunately the island is over exploited, full of trash, pricy and the food in the restaurants adapted to tourist (unless you eat in the village instead).

Lampang.

City of Lampang, a couple of hours (by car) south of Chiang Rai.
